Hey Folks! 

So here's where we're at.

Skies of Fire #7

We're on the last two coloring passes, to be hopefully wrapped up by Mid-May.

We're also simultaneously working on the lettering pass, but we need the final colors before finalizing lettering.

As of right now we're looking at a mid to late June release on Kickstarter. 

Skies of Fire #8

14/45 pages inked, working on the next set of seven this month. The script is completely locked and we're cruising through seven pages a month. Expect production to take the rest of the year.

Europe and the Love Balloon!

Hey Folks,

Happy February! 

Big couple of weeks for us coming up! Here's the latest:

European Shipping

So an update on European shipping - books are going out this week. Sorry for the delay we had a bit of a communication snafu but it's all sorted now and Vince is working hard to get out the 200 or so orders that remain. Your books are on the way! 

The Love Balloon

We revamped the campaign page  and Vince cut together a pretty great Kickstarter video. 

We did karaoke. That's how you know it's love. 

The Love Balloon goes live on Wednesday! 

Glow #4

Is in the can! We compiled and... it's pretty great. 

We got Hamm back to do some sick codex work:

Glow returns February 20th, 2020. 

Social Media

Kickstarters mean we have to leave our hermit caves and churn the great furnaces of social media once again!

We'll be posting a lot of Glow content over the next couple of weeks over @mythopoeians on: Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

We've been working on it since November. We finally broke the story this past week. Hopefully we do the ending justice. It's been quite the journey.

Shipping, Upcoming Projects, & Around KS!

Hey Folks! 

I shipped all NA packages and have been dealing with customer stuff. If you have an issue please let me know and we'll take care of it asap! Vince is in the process of shipping books to Europe so be on the lookout for those soon as well! 

Variant Cover 

 I really liked how our variant covers turned out for this issue! 

We're really happy to have gotten the opportunity to work with artist Ariel Colon on the project. We've actively been brainstorming different ways we can bring him into our upcoming projects and so today we'd like to give you a very special sneak peak at some of the stuff we have cooking behind the scenes! 

This is Ariel's work on Sansha and Blanco, a story I've been working on since 2016. It's a dark fairy tale about two dogs, Sansha and Blanco. Blanco cannot comprehend the freedom Sansha yearns. 

The process to find the look and feel for the book has been as exhaustive as all of our other titles. Ariel is actually working off of the lineart of another very talented artist, Vinsensius Sinatoo. We're so excited about telling this story and can't wait to bring it to you soon. 

The Love Balloon

Up next for Mythopoeia is another foray into something new: games! 

Longtime followers may know that Vince and I have been working on a Skies of Fire RPG for a long long time. This past winter we made great progress and took a couple of design detours along the way!

The Love Balloon is what came out of that. It's 2-6 player GMless story game based on the old 80's sitcom The Love Boat. Making and playing the Love Balloon. It reminded Vince and I of why we love creating stories together.

We're launching The Love Balloon as part of Kickstarter's Zine Quest 2! We hope you'll join us as we embark on a novel new frontier this Valentine's Day! 

Glow 

We're ready to return to the world of Glow with Issue #4 ! We're locked on the issue and are just waiting for final codex pieces to compile. It's looking amazing. We're so happy with how this issue turned out and can't wait for the next chapter of the story!

 Glow #4 returns late February 2020. 

Skies #7

Finally that brings us back around to Skies of Fire.  We're locked and loaded on the inks for #7 and are moments away from moving on to colors. For now, here's an exclusive first look at the cover:

This is the big one. The penultimate issue. The climax. You do not want to miss it. Skies of Fire returns April 2020.

Finally, we'd like to give a special shoutout to Madeleine Rosling back with Boston Metaphysical Society: Ghosts and Demons! So if you don't know, Madeleine is the one who convinced us to stick with Kickstarter way back when because for whatever reason we didn't think to go back to the platform for issue #2. 

If you like steampunk, paranormal, and alternate history, then this is for you. Based on the original six-issue mini-series about an ex-Pinkerton detective, a spirit photographer, and a genius detective who battle supernatural forces in late 1800s Boston, Ghosts and Demons is the third sequel in the series.

Since we're going to be launching campaigns again soon we're going to fire up the ole' social media engine again. If you're at all interested in The Love Balloon, we could really use your help to spread the word! We're new to the world of RPGs and we're hoping to find an audience with our quirky little game. Shipping Update - Wrapping Up NA!

Hey Everyone,

Just a heads up with regards to shipping - we have about 35 individual NA orders still left to go which should go out early next week. Europe should be all set to begin shipping next week as well. A couple of minor bits and ends too:

• If you've been tracking your order but haven't seen it move, don't worry. We printed a bunch of labels earlier but shipped them out later. 
• If you have extra copies, please feel free to donate or gift the extra copies to whomever you'd like. Sometimes duplicates happen when batch shipping so don't worry about it if you got extra.
• On the other hand, if you are short something in your order please contact us ASAP and we will fix it. 

All told, I'd estimate another two weeks of shipping before all the orders are out. Thank you for your patience and let us know if you have any questions!
