Hey Everyone,
First of all thank you thank you thank you. We had a little bit of turbulence getting this one up and running but seeing everyone come out and support us yesterday meant the world to us. We're so happy to bring you another issue of Skies of Fire and sincerely hope you enjoy this issue. Just like last time we're going to have weekly updates covering various aspects of Skies, the issue, and what we've been working on.
Let's jump into it!
Issue #7
This month Pablo is approaching the end (last five pages) of Issue #7, which is going to measure around 35 pages. A lot of crazy stuff happens in Issue #7. Most of you know we originally planned for eight issues of Skies back in 2014. It's crazy to think about, but here we are at the penultimate chapter of the series and it is bananas.
When is Issue #7 coming out? Well, we're also done with Glow #4, so will probably release that late January or February. That means right now we're probably looking at March- April, which will probably really mean May, but who's counting right? :P
Two issues this year people! It was a new record for us ;).
Stretch Goals
We really wanted to bring back stretch campaign this year but we also want to continue fulfilling these campaigns in a timely manner. The last year we've been really good about getting all of the rewards out in about two months. The last time we weren't good was the campaign for Book I, which not so coincidentally is the last time we did a lot of stretch goals!
So! We love doing postcards. It's about time we did another series of them. Vince has a great concept as well as some scenes he has in mind. We're dying to see more art from Dimitris Martinos, who has absolutely helped carve out the world of Skies of Fire. So, if we reach $30,000 for the campaign, we can make it happen!
We're really hoping we can get to this goal! We love working with Dimitris, we love expanding the world, and we love giving you fans more cool stuff! It's a win-win-win for everyone. It's a bit premature to talk about unless we do get closer to the goal, but for now let's just say you'll have the option to opt in or out should we get there :).
Rum Row
Finally, have you checked out Andrew Maxwell's Rum Row?
Dieselpunk. We doexist! Rum Row has more of an Americana crime procedural bent to its genre trappings while having a lot of the same conventions we both love - airships, pirates, and explosions, namely! It's a great series with a whole lot of intrigue... check it out!

Alright folks, that's us signing off this Friday evening. Talk to you early next week!
